Noah and the Whale
I first heard Noah and the Whale over at Daytrotter and enjoyed their session, and after hearing their album with full instrumentation I was blown away. A plethora of different instruments compliment their vocalist's low, hardy singing. I admit that I don't pay too much attention to lyrics themselves in songs but these guys have good stuff to say and therefore I noticed.
